Abstract:In the hinterland of Junggar Basin,seismic data in Kelameili Piedmont desert is characterized by serious statics and signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) problems due to thick sand-dunes and rough surface.To solve the problems,we achieve refraction stactic corrections with processing tools provided by GeoEast System.First an accurate near-surface velocity model is built based on uphole information and variable surface geological characteristics.Then the GeoEast refraction static corrections are adopted.Finally middle and long wavelength statics are eliminated,and seismic imaging is much improved.
