Abstract:Low-pass filtering is an indispensable tool for processing gravity and magnetic anomaly.The low-pass filtering with the small sub-domain filtering can well keep anomaly boundaries.Therefore this method is widely used in the processing of actual data.However,the method could make anomaly feature distorted due to unreasonable sub-domain division.This paper proposes an improved sub-domain division and identification criterion.We first test the optimized small sub-domain filtering method on synthetic data,and the test results prove that the method is effective.At last,we apply the optimized method to real aeromagnetic data acquired in Sichuan.The results show that the method can well keep the anomaly boundary feature,and that the filtering is reasonable and stable.
