Abstract:Seismic source array is an effective way to improve seismic data SNR with the directionality of stack wave field energy distribution. For this kind of source array used in seismic data acquisition, its elements are usually equal-deep and shot at the same time. Its energy is symmetrical in space, but it is not conducive to suppress near-surface scattering interference and surface wave. Considering the relevant parameters impacting stack wave field, we propose in this article a different source array, unequal-deep and time-delay source array.Test results show that this unequal-deep and time-delay source array can effectively suppress surface waves and scattering interference, and improve seismic data SNR.
