Abstract:The basic function of sequence stratigraphy is to divide different level of stratigraphic sequence.Applying the INPEFA technique developed by further improving the predictive error filtering analysis approach formed on the basis of maximum entropy spectrum analysis approach,the paper acquired the INPEFA curves after processing of logging traces.We can rapidly and accurately identify different levels of sequence interfaces based on the curves.The inflection points of INPEFA reflect the interfaces in different levels of sequences and the trend of INPEFA curve reflects the change of climate,water and rhythm in different levels of sedimentary cycles.Integral INPEFA analysis can divide first three levels of sequences,applying segment INPEFA analysis can identify fourth to fifth level of sequence and applying local INPEFA can judge the connectivity in sixth level of sequence (sand body).Applying INPEFA software,the paper showed the practical applied effects of INPEFA technique in Subei basin and Jiyang depression.
