Abstract:In M Coalmine, South China, reflection energy from targets is very weak due to the shielding effects of upper coal seam and the attenuation of gob zones. So seismic imaging is rather poor. To solve this problem, we conduct high precision seismic data processing with approaches provided by GeoEast. Reflection energy, data resolution and S/N ratio are greatly improved with iterative static correction, prestack noise attenuation, and Q compensation. Much better imaging is obtained.
