Abstract:Merging processing of three-dimensional (3D) seismic data refers to complex and fine digital processing, which aims at eliminating the differences in frequency, amplitude, and phase caused by different acquisition factors and conditions in each block. At present, the available methods of merging processing are relatively mature, mainly using the method of matched filtering to deal with the differences in frequency and phase and using five-dimensional regularization and energy adjustment based on coverage times to solve the problem of energy inconsistency. However, when the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) varies greatly in different blocks, there is still inconsistency in the attribute extraction upon the application of the existing supporting methods of merging processing. Therefore, this paper discusses the use of offset-difference time difference of arrival (TDOA) correction and time-varying diverse weighted trace combination technology, which solves the problem of SNR inconsistency caused by the huge difference in coverage times and has achieved great results in the merging processing of actual seismic data.
