Abstract:It is well known that attenuation by earth absorption depends on character of stratum and directly effects on imaging resolution in seismic prospecting.Obviously,the character of rock medium is objective existence.Earth absorption(character of stxatum) is generally fixed in a exploration area and in a condition of different buried depth of reservoir;there is a some limit to resolution in seismic prospecting in a region in a condition of known high f requency signal-to-noise ratio and present processing method.But whether it can reach the prospecting aim by study for inversion of attenuation by earth absorption and by decreasing high-fre-quency noise? It can be improved with development of seismic prospecting,but if attenuation by earth absorption wants to be fully removed,there is a long way to go.The paper analyzed the variation of spherical divergence and of attenuation by absorp-tion with frequency-time and different attenuation by absorption in stratigrathic rock of near-surface by analysis method for attenuation by earth absorption,the purpose is in hope of providing important analyzing basis for acquisition,processing and interpretation in real exploration and providing important basic information for elimination of varieties of effects and for study for inversion of attenuation by earth absorption after eveluating quantitative information on relative variation in attenuation by earth absorption by statistics.
