Abstract:The paper introduced a basic conception of model in random media and proposed an new method that constructs the model in random media according to theory of spectral factorization in stochastic process.The forward modeling of models in 2-D random media has been produced by taking 2-D exponential ellipsoidal auto-correlation function for an example.The results showed that these models in random media can flexibly describe real media.The paper used finite difference method to forward model elastic wave propagation and its zero-offset time section.The forward calculation results showed that the theory of model in random media has advantages of strong adaptability,easy and flexible use and effectively modeling the detail of reservoir.It's a important direction in reservoir geophysics that is worth further studying with an effort.
