Abstract:Chinese geophysicists have made an experimental cross-borehole seismic observation in JL oil field by using drop weight source and multistage three-component receiving system.The experimental process is briefly described,which involves da-to acquisition and data processing including the velocity tomography of compressional and shear waves in real data. Chinese geophysicists came to following conclusions:·The experimental observation is conducted in production boreholes,and real seismic data show quite high signal/noise ratio.·Borehole-side result of velocity tomography of cross-borehole compressionalwave coincides with acoustic logging data quite that the velocity tot:gography of cross-borehole others.·The low value part of the ratio of P-wave satisfactory,thus it can be known seismic data is more reliable than has been with the voir.derived from the velocity tomography velocity to S-wave velocity,results of P- and S-waves,interpreted resistivity logging data,and corresponds to producing.·Lithology and fluid in reservoir can analysing geological,logging and other data in be ascertained by comprehensively this area.
