Abstract:Bright spot and AVO techniques play big roles in hydrocarbon exploration.The finite element numerical modeling of elastic waves may make geophysicist .further analyse the seismic amplitude anomaly of hydrocarbon formation.In view of the point,we design six kinds of models of worldwide typical hydrocarbon traps,and estimate some theoretical all wave seismograms of the models.Having analysed some simulated seismic all-wave fields,we think that the result of all-wave finite element numerical modeling based on wave theory supports the result of bright spot technique based on synthetic seismogram model,and that AVO result based on ray theory should be revised properly.With the joint use of surface seismic data and VSP data,we can take this technique to find reliable wave field characteristic indication relating to hydrocarbon reservoir.
