Abstract:Hydrocarbon reservoirs in Sichuan basin are usually some fractured and porous reservoirs.In such special geological condition,S-wave polarization can be used favourably to detect dense fissure belt in reservoir.Field seismic acquisition offered quality P-SV wave data in Lingyinsi area.We can see from the processed seismic dato that converted waves which go through the low Permian system branch very obviously,and that anisotropy coefficient and amplitude difference between fast S-wave and slow S-wave are closely related to lateral fissure variation of hydrocarbon reservoir.The phenomena mean that P-S wave data can be a useful tool for detecting fisure belts in hydrocarbon reservoir.
