Wave field transform based on parametric variable and its application

Abstract:Wave field transform based on parametric variable has two points:1)determining that objective wave field is related to a parametric variable,and 2)using a special transform to map the objective wave field into parametric variable-distance domain,where the original complicated wave fields are converted into pseudo-parallel linear wave fields so that the objective wave field can be highlighted by coherent filtering.If objective wave field needs to be removed,inverse transform is performed toremove the objective wave field from a raw seismic section.If we want to highlightobjective wave field but to suppress other noises,inverse transform is done only.The paper sketches four wave field transform formula based on different paratnetric variables,and offers one example of eliminating both first breaks and surface waves.It can be seen that this method is very effective on improving seisrnic velocity andconventional section.
