Abstract:Deletion fitting(DELFIT)method is recommended here.It can remove multipies but retain AVO phenomenon to bring a fitted T0 trace P-wave section and AVO parameters.The method needs NMO-corrected CDP gathers so that deletion and fitting can be simultaneously performed to essentially remove multiples and random noises.Consequently,this method results in multiple-free P-wave section,without NMO correction lengthening here.What is more,deletion fitting method is not influenced by slight error of NMO correction velocity.This method can bring a fitted high-resolution P-wave section even though hyperbolae are not flattened thoroughly(it is not sensitive to this.).It can be seen from this that the method is a processing technique for replacing horizontal stack.
