Abstract:Using conventional maximum energy method to process low S/N Ratio seismic data with large time shift in complex areas often results in cycle skip phenomenon, which then further leadiing to convergence to local maximum for the algorithm and the false structure. To solve the problem, this paper proposed the improvement measures for raising S/N ratio and suppressing cycle skip phenomenon. The measures can be summarized as below:using model trace multi-channel mixed wave technique to raise S/N ratio and improve model trace quality, utilizing slow expansion phase space technique to avoid cycle skip phenomenon, applying static correction spatial constrained filtering to overcome "null space" drift phenomenon in static correction processing. The results from theory model testing and application of the field data show that the proposed improvement measures in this paper could raise the adaptability of the conventional maximum energy method in static correction processing for seismic data from the complex areas.
