Abstract:By using approximate formula by Aki-Richards,the research of PP-PS joint inversion technique was conducted in this paper. The PS wave reflection coefficient formula was used to eliminate the density term in the PP wave reflection coefficient formula, and an inversion technique which uses singular value decomposition solution was presented in this paper.Compared with the PP wave inversion method, the PP-PS method which uses two joint inversion equations is more stable. The theoretical trial calculation and application of the field data indicate that the accuracy and noise-resistance of the PP-PS technique are much higher and much more robust than the PP inversion technique.
