Abstract:Geophysical diffraction tornography and iterative inverse scattering tornography are typical of tornography methods for geophysical wave equation inverlion. In order to improve tornographic resolution, we propose inverse scattering tornography using maximum entropy. In solving the inverse scattering problem, this method uses maximum entropy as a restraint and takes the solution corresponding to maximum entropy as inversion result, the solution being selscted from the qualified rnultisolution model. This method is very effective on inversion of incomplete and noisy data. Furthermore, its tomographic resolution is better than that of diffraction tomography and its resistance to noise is quite good.
