Abstract:The study in the paper centered on the feature of seismic waves in carbonate karst reservoir.First from the seismic-geologic conditions in object zone, the paper analyzed the issues existed in seismic acquisition before, that is,larger acquisition bin size, lower S/N ratio and poor quality of seismic data.In accordance with the kinematic and dynamic feature of seismic diffraction wave produced by karst caves,we analyzed imaging difference of seismic diffraction wave of karst caves in different bin sizes and different receiver intervals, and presented that short group interval and wide-azimuth survey is effective acquisition method and prestack imaging is necessary processing tool for studying karst cave reservoir.
