Abstract:The accuracy of migration velocity modeling directly affects the quality of pre-stack depth migration.Based on pre-stack depth migration, the batch computing and visualization method were used to conduct interval velocity analysis. In interactive analysis the accuracy of every velocity point can be evaluated in real time, and can be adjusted dynamically based on residual curvature criterion. In order to avoid shortage of single point analysis and uncertainty of shot domain multi-ray path problem, the migration velocity picked up from interactive analysis were used to conduct true amplitude pre-stack depth migration,by sorting common imaging point gathers, the quality of interactive analysis was evaluated,so the reasonable and reliable migration model was provided for wave equation pre-stack depth migration. For huge calculation in migration velocity analysis, the multi-layer parallel computing can achieve higher efficiency, and it is more practical.Field seismic data processing results verified feasibility and effectiveness of the migration velocity modeling method introduced in this paper.
