Abstract:The exploration showed that the majority of oil and gas discovered in Junggar basin came from the deep Permian source rock. Because the deep in-terbed fault amplitude is generally small in hinterland of Junggar basin, which made the fault position be difficult to be defined,and was difficult to be identified and described by using common seismic data,so that the oil/gas migration and accumulation zone were unable to correctly predicted. Facing the factors having influence on describing minor interiayer faults, the paper adopted multiple purposeful measures: using prestack time migration to improve the interiayer fault imaging,laying the foundation for correct identification and description of interiayer faults; fine description of minor faults by dip scanning technique; using frequency-shared phase technique of dominant band to carry out the identification of faulted system in seismic data with wide band. Integrative usage of abovementioned approaches correctly identified and described the deep interiayer faults in Yong-1 well zone, achieving good results.
