Abstract:After useful informations are extracted from seismic data,fuzzy mathematics may be used to make fuzzy cluster analysis and comprehensive assessment of these extracted informations so as t predict oil and gas in strata.Thus,the usual qualitative seismic interpretation is changed to a quantitative one。The HCI section across anticline BZ 28 in Bohai sea is given, and the HCI section modified by fuzzy mathematical analysis is also shown in this paper'.It is shown that fuzzy mathematical method can be used obtain a more sarisfactory HCI result.
