Abstract:There is an infinite integral in the formula for computing the electromagnetic field components in horizontal layers caused by electric and magnetic dipoles.The integrand is the product of two functions, namelt,a kernel function and the Bessels function of the 1st kind with different orders.The kernel function,relating to the parameter.Erequency and integral constant,of a electric profile,is used as the input function in digital filtering estimation.Both two functions oscillate and attenuate slowly,therefore,it is time-consuming to integrate it by numerical method.This part generates numerical filter coefficient in di- gital filtering,The coefficient varies with different type of instruments instead of electric profile, only one set of coeffici:nts being needed fog.
