Abstract:Lowering the precision of AVO analysis is inevitable in conventional AVO inversion. Robert used harmonic decomposition method to get angle gather, which is more suitable for AVO inversion. The paper improved the algorithm taking angle gather by harmonic decomposition, forming the complete idea using CSP gather data for AVO inversion on that basis, which is summarized as follows: using one-way wave amplitude-preserved migration to make amplitude hi-fi and positioning; using the algorithm of harmonic decomposition sorting angle gather from CSP gather data to acquire accurate corresponding relationship between incident angle and reflectivity; the inversion of AVO attributes of density and P- and S-waves velocity etc is carried out by the aid of Aki and Richards' approximation. It is proved by practical data test that the precision of inversion by the method presented in the paper is obviously higher than that in conventional AVO analysis.
