Abstract:During oilfield development,the heavy oil reservoir occupied an important position in both reserve and production.Using ordinary technical tool to develop heavy oil reservoir is difficulty and bad displacement effects.According to water displacing oil mechanism in water-wet medium and indoor waterflood huff and puff experiments,the paper presented a new method for improving development efficiency in this kind of reservoir--waterflood huff and puff oil recovery development.Using the water displacing oil mechanism of ordinary heavy oil reservoir in water-wet pore medium,the method directly transforms the water input wells pressure-saved at well bottom into production wells and after a period of production inversely transforms them into water input wells again.After several rounds of repeated huff and puff and oil-water displacement,the injected water can be pushed into oil-bearing strata in depth until the normal water drive development could be realized.According to this theory,the integral exercise has been carried out in Zi19-14 block of Zilaitun oilfield.The 7 participated wells have acquired success that showed it is feasible to use huff and puff development in ordinary water-wet heavy oil reservoir.The method can also be used in development of reservoir in poor connectivity or low-permeable reservoir.
