Abstract:The Oseil Oilfield in Seram Island of eastern Indonesia is fractured reservoir of Jurassic Manusela carbonate, the oil/gas distribution is strictly controlled by the distribution and development of fracture.Using spectrum decomposition technique, the paper studied the distributing of fault system and distribution rule of micro-fracture;summarized the feature of seismic response on fractured reservoir of carbonate by analyzing the reflection feature of Manusela bed and forward simulating the model of fractured reservoir;and making frequency tuning volume and 4-D time-frequency volume by selecting 40ms time-window that is able to reflect the fault feature of target. It is shown by analyzing the frequency tuning volume that the two sets of cross fault systems developed in central and southern parts of studied area respectively and a set of fault system in northern part;the fractures around fault developed and distribution of fracture is strictly controlled by the development of fault. The 4-D time-frequency volume described spatially the distribution of fault and fracture, and the later is characteristic of better development in subsurface and less development in deep. The distributing rule of deep fracture in both frequency tuning volume and 4-D time-frequency volume is more coincident. The results predicted by spectrum decomposition are identical to the drilling results, showing that the method has broad application prospect.
