Abstract:Since deep buried depth of target in deep natural gas exploration in northern part of Dongying area, the data with large angle (far-offsets) cannot be acquired, leading to be unable to use conventional method to pick up the lithologic parameters from three elastic impedance data volumes with wide, mid and small angle. For that reason, the method studying on using two elastic impedance data volumes with mid and small angle to pick up petrophysical parameters has been carried out by introducing approximate formula and numeric test has been also implemented. The results showed that the parameter pickup method discussed in the paper is able to pick up such lithologic parameters as P- and S-wave impedances accurately from model data, and using the method to carry out the lithologic parameter pickup in the studied area, and further to develop the reservoir prediction, achieving good results.
