Abstract:The conventional dip-scanning is mostly used in the time-space domain.Using corresponding relationship between the time-space domain of seismic section and its 2-D Fourier transform,the paper improved the conventional filtering method in frequency-wavemumber domain and implemented dip-scanning in frequency-wavemumber domain.It is shown by theoretical model computation and processing of practical seismic data that the method realized the dip pickup in frequency-wavemumber domain while suppressing interference of noises,showing that the method is valuable method in practice.
