Abstract:In accordance with the lithologic distributionof studied targets in ?一D seismic data of T blockand in order to reduce exploration risk, using mean-square-root amplitude to carry out probing studyon the lithologic feature and distribution in differ-ent intervals of the work area. Based on detailedanalyzing the Upper Cretaceous and Palaeogeneseismic horizon sequences.the paper divided 9 sub-horizon sequences again and found that mean-square-root amplitude is the attribute being mostcapable to reflect the lithology in the region on thebasis of analyzing multiple seismic attributes;then, detected the mean-square-root amplitude ofmajor targets and took this as a basis to qualita-tively analyze the distribution of exploration zoneof interest in the work area and presented ourview, on the former approaches using mean uare-root amplitude to carry out study of sedimentaryphase and lithology.
