Abstract:In order to have high quality seismic imaging, some analysis approaches of seismic data acquisition geometry parameter influences on prestack data imaging are developed in recent years based on 3D geometry symmetry, continuity, uniformity, and sufficiency. So seismic data imaging-oriented geometry design can be adopted. However these approaches are qualitative analysis. We propose in this paper a 3D seismic geometry quantitative analysis approach for this purpose. Taking the main lobe/largest side lobe as an indicator, we use the double focusing algorithm based on Kirchhoff integral migration to do this. Geological model and real data tests verify the correctness of the proposed approach.
