Abstract:Based on the research results by Lawton et al.,the influence of water depth to bin attribute and seismic data in OBC exploration was discussed in this paper.By applying conventional PATCH geometry,the fold changing for near offset and far offset under both the wide and the narrow geometries were studied,it was founded out in the studies that in order to meet the need of target zone the geometry designing optimization is needed when the survey was acquired in the relatively deep water area,through forward modeling analysis the specialties of seismic data processing in the relatively deep water area were discussed,the wave field continuation method was proposed to conduct the correction in order to relieve the influence of the deep water.
