Abstract:Different fracture-detection methods can be used to identify fractures with different scales and genetic types, and the ant-tracking fracture detection is one of these effective fracture detection approaches. In order to reduce noise effects in seismic data on the algorithm and explore its ability to identify crack types, ant-tracking fracture detection based on spectral decomposition is proposed and applied to Karst fracture-cave reservoirs of Yingshan formation of Ordovician in Yubei area. compared with the information based on drilling, core, imaging logging and stratigraphic dip logging data, this method can detect structural cracks caused by formation compression. The precision of the method is effectively improved compared to full-band seismic data. It is confirmed that this proposed method is valid and practicable.
