Abstract:In the deep-water exploration all over the world today,the research and prediction of the deep-water reservoir attract much attention in the industry.Integrated use of multi seismic attributes could maximize the accuracy of the reservoir prediction.Sweetness attribute is a new technique in which the 3D seismic data were used to identify the sand bodies.Sweetness is the ratio between the reflection strength and RMS frequency,by using the sweetness attribute the isolated sand bodies can be effectively predicted in the deep sea sediment environment.It is founded out in the studies that by integrated with seismic facies waveform classification and the coherency technique,sweetness can be used to predict sediment type and distribution characteristics of the sandbodies,the fusion attribute of the sweetness and the coherency can be used to determine the lithology type and the distribution range.
