Application of 3D fast on-site geometry-variable design in Pucheng area

Abstract:Due to dense buildings in the urban Pucheng area,the deployment of shot points and geophones in the seismic acquisition in the area was greatly limited,the geological targets can not be realized with conventional swath geometry system in the 3D acquisition,as a result the acquisition was not conducted in the urban area in every seismic acquisition survey.By applying 3D fast on-site geometry-variable design technique in the area automatic design and optimization of the geometry was implemented by integration of GIS and geometry design,and by correlation analysis between the optimized design and the field effect after the acquisition.With application of the technique in this area,the target zone missing problem which was encountered in every acquisition in the past years got solved,and the folds for the entire survey area meet the need of the exploration design.By using the technique the exploration risk was lower,design became easier,and acquisition difficult level was decreased.
