Abstract:After massive calculations of anisotropic parameters, phase velocity and reflection/refraction coefficient,we find that there may be an anomalous incident-angle on the interface between two rocks with stronger anisotropy. With Snell's law and the energy balance principle we verify the rationality of the anomalous incident-angle existence. This anomalous incident-angle is located in the post-critical incident-angle area. Therefore,if the anomalous incident-angle exists, the incident-angle with responding to the refracted P-wave can be classified into three sections:the pre-critical incident-angle,the area between the critical incident-angle and the anomalous incident-angle,and the post-anomalous incident-angle area.Only the phase velocity roots of refracted P-wave must be switched at an anomalous incident-angle,the calculated results can satisfy Snell's law and the energy balance principle.
