A step-by-step iteration for joint frequency expanding

Abstract:In order to describe reservoir details,a step-by-step iteration method is proposed for joint frequency expanding of well logging data and 3D surface seismic data.First,we use the step-by-step iteration to downgrade well logging data frequency.So well logging and seismic data in the mid and low-frequency are well matched by parameter optimization of the step-by-step iterative equations.Then we can extract matching factors through the downgraded well logging data,establish high-resolution seismic geologic model,and expand bandwidth of 3D surface seismic data for joint inversion.The processing results of real seis mic data in the work area show that the proposed method has broadened surface seismic bandwidth and improved its resolution.
