Abstract:Well-developed,low-relief shallow structural reservoirs in the Structure 4,Napu Sag are characterized by complicated geology,rough lateral changes,and large seismic velocity difference.To overcome these problems,we use variable-velocity structure mapping provided by GeoEast together with drilling,logging and geological data to carry out low-relief structure characterization.The velocity field is built with stacking velocity spectrum,and the average velocity field in the area is corrected by well-controlled velocity and well-controlled horizons. Our approach improves low-relief structure characterization accuracy without multi-solutions.Our reservoir prediction is proved by latter drilling with good geological results and economic benefits.
