Abstract:Igneous rocks become a new field of the petroleum exploration in Erlian Basin as hydrocarbon has been found in this type of rocks in a number of sags of Erlian Basin.Igneous rock reservoirs in Wulanhua Sag,Erlian Basin are characterized by complicated lithology,laterally rough change and strong heterogeneity.In order to overcome these problems,we use a few approaches provided by GeoEast such as BP neural network inversion,3D geobody description,coherence cube,curvature cube and hydrocarbon detection to carry out litho-logic identification,minor-fault system prediction and hydrocarbon detection in andesite reservoirs of Alshan Formation in Wulanhua Sag on 3D seismic,logging and drilling data.Finally,favorable ande-site reservoirs are effectively predicted.
