Abstract:The prestack depth migration imaging can accurately shift the underground structure to its real depth, and get an accurate underground seismic section. The foundation of prestack depth migration imaging is the accurate depth-domain velocity model. The main steps of the prestack depth-domain modeling include initial modeling, migration imaging, and model updating. Based on real seismic data, through the near-surface modeling, mixed model (block model and grid model), and equivalent depth-domain velocity scanning to update the model, a high precision depth-domain velocity model is built and the accurate imaging of geological structure is achieved.
