A sparse reflectivity sine-cosine synergistic inversion method in the frequency domain

Abstract:The spectral inversion appeared in recent years is not dependent on a priori information such as well logging data.It can obtain the sparse reflectivity with only the seismic frequency spectrum and break through the resolution limitation caused by the tuning effect.Our research indicates that decomposing the frequency spectrum of reflectivity series into sine and cosine components in the frequency domain is equivalent to decomposing the reflectivity series into odd and even components in the time domain.Based on this equivalence,we propose a synergistic inversion method using the sine and cosine components of the seismic spectrum in the frequency domain to get high resolution sparse reflectivity series.Model tests and real data applications show that the proposed method can achieve accurate results on which thin-beds and minor geological bodies can be recognized,which cannot be recognized on original seismic sections.
