Multiple identification and suppression on land seismic data

Abstract:The identification and suppression of multiples are tough challenges on complex land seismic data.In this paper we discuss multiples on seismic data in Fushan Sag,Hainan,and demonstrate multiples identification with stack,gather,and velocity spectrum analysis.We eliminate multiples on these seismic data sets with some techniques provided by GeoEast Processing Sub-system including Radon transform,beam filtering,and multiple prediction and subtraction based on wave field extrapolation.Good results obtained prove the correctness of the processing techniques.
