Abstract：In complicated areas,the near-surface velocity model based on the firstbreak tomography inversion lacks extremely low velocity information due to limits of data acquisition,and long wavelength statics cannot be completely solved.Therefore,we propose a near-surface velocity tomographic inversion with a joint stepped-constraint of uphole and firstbreak information.First an accurate velocity v0 of low velocity zone is inverted with uphole data and near-offset firstbreaks.Then taking the velocity v0 as a constraint,the accurate velocity v0 of low-velocity,and the accurate velocity v1 of sub-low-velocity zones can be obtained with inversion by uphole data and mid-offset and far-offset firstbreaks.In this way,weight coefficients are obtained by the adaptive algorithm.The proposed approach is applied to 3D seismic data in Well Da 10 area,Junggar Basin.The results show that long-wavelength statics are solved and the near-surface velocity model is greatly improved.
