Abstract:Fault-block Mao31 in Maozhou Oilfield is a middle-deep sand reservoir in a complex fault block,which is controlled by structures and litho-logy.An accurate fault-block trap evaluation is the key to the reservoir development.With tools provided by GeoEast Interpretation Sub-system,minor faults are characterized in detail and block traps are delineated by the horizon tracking.On this basis,the trap evaluation is carried out.Seismic attributes such as texture and highlight volume are optimized to predict the reservoir distribution of Section Es3 of Fault-block Mao31,and the hydrocarbon content is predicted by the fluid detection.According to our research results,new channel-sands and a local structural height are discovered in the study area.Our research has achieved good results:from 4 wells proposed in the southwest of Fault-block Mao31,3 have obtained high oil production.Our practice can be a reference for similar situations.
