Abstract:GeoGME is a package for processing and interpretation of gravity,magnetic and electromagnetic data.3D MT (magnetotelleric) data can be processed and interpreted on GeoGME.A 3D MT dataset is processed by 3D MT inversion.The measured apparent resistivity fits well with the inversion response,which can objectively reveal the distribution characteristics of formation electrical properties in the study area.3D MT weak information extraction and enhancement techniques are used to process 3D inversion resistivity dataset,which can clearly reflect special lithology and target anomalous interfaces.Accordingly,the target top and bottom are depicted.Through drilling horizon calibration and horizon tracing on GeoEast,the related structural maps in the study area are interpreted and the favorable targets are evaluated,which might be a new approach of 3D MT data processing and interpretation for the igneous basin exploration.
