Abstract:Jurassic channel sands of Akshabulak Member (J3ak) in the Doshan Area of the Southern Tulige Basin are favorable lithologic targets.To identify these channel sands of meandering rivers,we use some important approaches provided by GeoEast System such 3D visualization and attribute analysis.Seismic interpretation techniques based on strata models identify the evolution and spatial distribution characteristics of the two-stage channels (J3ak).Sand enrichments are predicted by the highlight volume,and sand thickness is predicted by SpecDecomp.Finally favorable reservoirs are characterized by hydrocarbon detection.Our study in the area provides a strong foundation for the future well deployment.
