Abstract:When seismic exploration is carried out in the peripheral of Liaohe Basin,peg-leg multiples are rather strong due to sand-dune ringing.These peg-leg multiples harm seriously the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) of seismic data.We find out that the period of sand-dune ringing is related to the sand thickness in the study of sand-dune ringing mechanism.According to this relationship,the variable-step prediction deconvolution provided by GeoEast Processing Sub-system is used to suppress sand-dune ringing,and good results are achieved.
