Abstract:The inversions of seismic velocity and source function in one-dimensional wave equation can be achieved jointly by only adopting longitudinal wave information. In view of the fact that the inverse problem of wave equation is ill-posed,the seismic source function and wave velocity are obtained iteratively by adopting a stepped regularization method, thus greatly reducing the computation and improving the computation stability of the inverse problem. This is a new method for coping with one dimensional seismic data. The detailed formula is given by which multiparameter inversion can be achieved by only introducing one supplementary condition of inverse problem. The analysis of the corresponding trial results proves the method feasible.
