Abstract:The Permian of Caohu depression can be divided into two tectonic cycles: Sinian-Middle Devonian and Latter Devonian-Permian. The paper adopted formation-structural extrapolation approach and denudation variation rate approach to approximately evaluate the denudation of structural unconformable surface for T60 (upper Devonian bottom) and T50 (permian bottom) in Caohu depression. The T60 denudation of Caohu depression was above 1000~2500m, which was gradually increased from south to north in general and reached to the most in the northwestern part and the kernel part of east nose uplift in Caohu depression greater than 2500m; The T50 denudation was about 100~1000m, which was gradually increased from west to east and the high-value zone of denudation was located in eastern part of Caohu depression.
