Abstract:In view of data acquisition, and processing feature of mountainous Walk-away VSP and starting from following aspects: optimizing acquisition parameters, mid-to-high frequency static corrections, velocity model-building and reasonable approximation, wavefield separation and prestack migration imaging, the paper carried out study and created a set of data acquisition, processing methods. The paper also acquired high-quality imaging section around well, accurately calibrated the position of reservoir, trapped the configuration and size of bank reef and finely described interior detail in reef by acquisition, processing and interpretation of Walk-away VSP data in LC-2 well, showing the feasibility of data acquisition, processing and interpretation techniques of mountainous Walk-away VSP used in the paper
