Abstract:Sculpturing reservoirs in Block A of deep water in South China Sea is quite difficult due to lack of wells. In this paper, according to geological sedimentary facies in deep water,we build a realistic deep-water strata model based on seismic data, and then build platform-edge reef carbonate reservoir models based on impedance inversion and seismic attribute characteristics. After that,we sculpture crevices and clefts inside platform-edge reef carbonate reservoirs using random model-building method.Taking advantage of "intersection" and "concatenation" operation,we establish seismic geological random models close to subterranean platform-edge reef carbonate reservoirs. With combination of forward simulation, conventional processing and similarity analysis,we have obtained structure and model parameters of platform-edge reef reservoirs which are very close to the reality.
