Abstract:Using P-wave and converted S-wave seismic information simultaneously,multi-component joint inversion enhances the stability and accuracy.The paper proposes a joint AVO/AVA inversion of Pwave and converted S-wave data.This method combines P-wave and converted S-wave AVO/ AVA analysis with seismic inversion.Matching Pwave amplitude and time information with that of converted S-wave by simulated annealing global optimization,the method estimates stratigraphic elastic parameters.The application in Ken 71area, Shengli Oilfield,shows that the method estimates stratigraphic elastic parameters of high precision, which will be beneficial for lithology and fluid predictions.
