Abstract:Based on seismic amplitude attribute analysis, spectrum decomposition, 3d visualization and other technical means, the distribution of channel sand bodies in Kangcui Formation and Kuche Formation were delineated, by using wave impedance inversion technique the Tertiary sand bodies were predicted. By integrating hydrocarbon accumulation conditions, the following conclusions were reached: (1)The targets is Lower Tertiary are most favorite ones, so continuing the YH-16 well's further drilling to detect the hydrocarbon potential of the lithologic bodies is suggested. (2)Upper sand interval in Jidike Formation and the Inner sand interval in Lower Tertiary are current exploration targets. (3)The channel sand bodies in Kangcui Formation and Kuche Formation are the excellent future exploration targets.
